You are awesome, and you really made my day/week/month/etc.! I wish I knew who you were so I could tell you personally, but I figured you would probably see a journal. So, sincerely - thank you! c:
And to all the people that have stopped by and faved or even watched, hello and welcome! I have a LOT of new artwork on the way, and a webcomic launching this week, so I do have things to occupy your eyes. I hope you will stick around!
On that note, The Muse Mentor is launching its first page this Friday, June 1st. I will have a big ole' announcement up about it once it is live, but a heads-up never hurt anyone, especially not from a promotional standpoint. I can't tell you how thrilled I am at all the encouragement I have received and the positive feedback I have been getting, and I am just really hoping that everyone will enjoy the story and characters that I have put together. It represents almost 2 whole years of planning and careful editing and reworking, and while it will never be perfect, I at least intend to showcase it to the best of my ability. I've really missed making comics, and having a chance to make one, again, is really fantastic!
While you're here, if you haven't already, you might want to check out Boss Monster, which is the webcomic I co-write with Kayzig, who writes AND illustrates! If you've see these characters floating around my gallery:
or any of these guys:
and wondered what they're all about, you can find out in Boss Monster!
At any rate, I will be back here again in a few days to start the mad plugging for The Muse Mentor. Hope to see you there!

There's a lotta cobwebs on this dA!
Yeesh, I should check in more often. This was my original SOCIAL MEDIA ART PLACE, after all. I met a lotta you through here! So like... how are you doing, actually? Really. Have I missed anything particularly cool?
As for me, this is really just your once-every-billion-years reminder that hi, hello, I'm still around, still kickin'! I am now making two webcomics, and am actually in the process of knocking out sooomewhere between 18-36 full-color pages this month. We'll see how well I do! I also um, I recently quit my decade+ career to begin doing illustration full-time. It feels really nice! BUSY, but nice. (And hey, BUSY is good in the freel
Awesome artwork at a bargain price!
I know I don't check in nearly enough, but believe me - today I am doing you a huge favor! My skilled art-friend and Harlowe Vanished co-writer chainSMA (https://www.deviantart.com/chainsma) is offering commissions at RIDICULOUS STEAL costs!
Seriously, this is pretty wild. Painted-color style bust for fifteen bucks? Holy heck. Also might I mention she is a fashion design student, so those fashion sketches could be a great investment if you are trying to come up with some quick character outfits or wardrobe ideas - this is a pro in training, here! Please go check out her work and if you are so inclined, buy something fantastic so she can afford her computer woes as well as g
And now The Muse Mentor has WRAPPED Chapter 5!
Hello there! How's everybody doin'?
The last time I checked in with you via dA journal, I had just started chapter 5 of my webcomic, The Muse Mentor. Well, guess what? That chapter is now done and in the can, and you can read the whole thing in one glorious sitting, if you'd like! (Or binge-read the whole thing, you know, whatever strikes your fancy!)
Check out the website here: http://www.themusementor.com
There will be guest art going up the next two weeks, and then after that on the 15th of May, I'll be launching chapter 6, titled A Girl's Best Friend. I'm honestly pretty excited!
Thanks for reading!
