Just wanted to ask if it's okay if I cameo Harlowe in my Miss OC entries! :)

Aw, that's wonderful! I'm happy to hear it, keep at it, keep it loose and fun, and I hope you are able to stay productive and at least a teeny bit confident.

I doubt you remember that comment I made a long long long time ago about how i loved your style which is okay, cause I barely remember it either, but I just wanted to say this because you deserve to know, but after finding myself continually coming back to your page which I seem to never do to anyone else( probably should, but i'm so lazy) but anyway you literally are my favorite artist ever! and I think I could even go so far to say that your art inspires me so much I can't even begin to explain, so thank you! haha Also I read your little comic(not recently, but it's on my to-do list) and I really love it! Gah and I still love your style obviously. I really hope I pull my shit together soon and start improving and enjoying drawing again! I mean I really love drawing I do it everyday and try to draw from life every so often, but more from my imagination , but these last 2 months have been terrible for me I feel like i've done nothing, but draw awful things or nothing at all even though I have proof I have drawn and it makes me start to feeling maybe drawing isn't my thing, but I know for a fact it is because When I do it I love it!, bleh I don't know. anyway thank you so much for being the biggest inspiration artwise ever to me! sorry i kind of started ranting lol

Oh, this comment is so sweet...!! I can't believe I'm really your favorite, I don't think I've ever been someone's favorite artist before, and I'm pretty floored by the concept. Thank you so much! I'm thrilled, and I'm flattered.

You know, we all have stretches of time where we aren't drawing as often, we aren't producing as much, or we feel what we are making is just not up to our standards. EVERY artist does. If someone ever tells you they don't have times like that, then I doubt this is someone who ever improves very much, because you need to be highly critical of yourself in order to get better. Sometimes this means we suffer an art block, or we don't like what we're doing because we hit a wall, but so long as you LOVE doing it, you will keep coming back to it over, and over, and that will get you through any tough times. Loving the heck out of drawing has helped me overcome more issues than any technical instruction ever could, because without the passion for it, I would have no desire to move forward.

So don't beat yourself up about lack of productivity! Work on it when you can, remember how much it means to you; it's like a good relationship, it takes constant dedication and work, but it's well worth-it for what you get back out of it. I hope this helps!

well Seriously be flattered because you're totally my favorite! I even just went to my profile and put your name under favorite artist section! awwww Yesss! but yeah I guess it is true that everyone goes through these things even though it sometimes seems like they don't(probably cause I have no art friends in real boo hoo), hmm I think what would really help me is if I would just make a character that I liked enough to stick with haha! Any suggestions on that? :P When I was younger it was so much easier for me because I was your typical dumb overdramatic "emo" kid haha and everyone of my characters had an emo bang and were all based off people I knew at that time. Not that making characters based from people you're friends with, but in my experience once you lose that friend it's pretty much gone, I don't know why it's so hard for me to make a character that i will stick with now though, it sounds so simple, yet so frustrating, and ahh i'm rambling; half of that probably doesn't even make sense, but yeah hmm
